MUFON reports twice as many sightings in August 2011

 

 

Alexander Hamilton reported a cow being kidnapped by an airship in Le Roy, Kan., in April 1897.

 

Myrtle Beach, South Caroline.Gary Travis, a pilot with nearly 40 years experience, caught some mysterious sky lights on video. A yuck-em-up story with X-files theme music and “Ask a Local who Looks Confused Anyway.”   
On Feb. 25, 1942, a large, dark object over the Los Angeles coastline was mistaken for a Japanese attack and drew a barrage of anti-aircraft fire. Memos to President Roosevelt confirmed the existence of unidentified aerial objects. An editorial in the Long Beach Independent wrote, “There is a mysterious reticence about the whole affair and it appears that some form of censorship is trying to halt discussion on the matter.”
